Welcome to the Wabaunsee County Sheriff’s Office
Wabaunsee County Sheriff’s Office (WBSO) has been serving Wabaunsee and surrounding communities since 1859. The WBSO has over 25 employees who work in the Patrol Division, Communications, Detention Center, Work Release, Civil Office, Victims Advocate, Records, and Sheriff’s Office Administration. Additionally, there are multiple volunteers of the Sheriff’s Posse who are responsible for coordinating Search and Rescue efforts in Wabaunsee County.
Our mission is to ensure a safe and secure environment for all persons in Wabaunsee County by providing professional law enforcement through responsive, caring, and dedicated service.
The WBSO believes in the provisions set forth in the Constitution of the United States of America.
